In The Beginning

My favorite genres are  Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror.  BUT I'm not too picky - anything that holds my attention is a winner.

Genres don't matter if its a well written story. This revelation had a major impact on me. At one point I would ONLY read horror, realizing there are books out there that can enrich you as a human being, unlocked a whole world of possibilities and now I have been reading fantasy consistently for two years, I AM OBSESSED.

I don't give long essay like reviews WHO HAS THE TIME TELL ME. I am not trying to dissect a writers work. I am trying expand awareness of different genres and share my love for reading, writing and whatever interests me.

REVIEW RATINGS:

1. Story

Was the story original, interesting and engaging.

A mellow drama book with nothing happening would have a lower rating. How is the tension, adventure and action.

3. Page turner

How quickly did I want to finish it or did it drag out.

This is my overall opinion encompassing all of the above
